Registration takes places all year. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Students are accepted on a "first come, first serve" basis. Registration must be done by the parent or guardian in person. Interested persons should bring the following items at the time of registration:

1. Birth Certificate (Kindergartners must be 5 years old on or before September 1st. First graders must be 6 years old on or before September 1st and must have satisfactorily attended kindergarten.)
    
2. Social Security card
    
3. Proof of Physical within the last year
    
4. Proof of Immunization (HRS Form)
    
5. Proof of Residency in Orange County using one of the following:
• Homestead Exemption Card
• Manifestation of Domicile
• Lease Agreement
• Notarized Statement

When the quota is reached, a waiting list based on a random selection process is started and families are contacted as openings become available.
